1.        Our advice on registration is for non-ACS members register as Visitor,
Non chemical scientist for the entire
meeting.  That rate should be $285 also and will allow participation in the
full meeting rather than just one of the two days of the symposium.  Early
registration deadline is July 27.

2.        Housing is extremely tight. The only rooms left in the official ACS hotel
lists are expensive ones (>$150.00 a night). There are a few rooms left in
Travelodge. In the meantime, reserve your hotel rooms now even if you have
to cancel it later. If you find any good deal, please let us know.

3.        Since we will not stay in one hotel, we should try to have dinner
together especially on the evening of August 25. Please let me know if
anyone is willing to organize this.

4.    As we cannot modify anything listed in the official ACS sites or
publications, the most up-to-date information including the program will be
posted in our symposium web site:
