iClicker instructions

You must also have an iClicker for answering clicker questions in class. These will form part of your grade. The original iClicker or iClicker2 are both acceptable (the questions in class will only be multiple choice). Bring your clicker to every class. You must have your own clicker; you may never share it with another student.

In order to receive points, your iClicker must be registered in the iClicker database at http://www.iclicker.com/support/registeryourclicker/ with your MSU Net ID in e-mail form (student_ID@msu.edu).

Note the following points:

• You have 2 weeks to register the iClicker. You can participate with your iClicker in class, and even if its not registered yet you will receive the points retroactively. Register your iClicker right away and check the posted clicker scores to find out early if your iClicker is registered correctly. If its not, try registering again. If that does not work, contact your instructor after class.
• iClicker purges the database once a year, so if you have not registered recently you need to register again.
• All classes will download information from that database, so if you have already registered your iClicker for another class with MSU Net ID in e-mail form you don't have to do it again. However, some classes might require another "Student ID", for example just the MSU Net ID, or the student ID number. In that case you have to register again with the MSU Net ID in e-mail form. You can have multiple registrations with different Student IDs so this will not affect your registration for the other classes.
