Who I am
I'm currently a graduate student at Michigan State University. My research is in experimental nuclear physics and I spend most of my time at the cyclotron. For more information see my research presentations.
Over the course of my time here I've been heavily involved in the lab and the physics department at MSU. See my CV for more information.
In my spare time I enjoy bowling, softball, soccer, or any team sport pick up game. I spend a fair amount of time surfing the internet, and playing games such as poker. I also think it's fun to create new things, including webpages.
What I want
My first goal is to obtain a PhD in Physics from MSU by the summer of 2010. After graduation I plan to do a post doc in physics education research followed by a teaching position at a small liberal arts college. I hope to continue my level of involvement with a new physics department and become more involved in the community.
