Who I am
I'm currently a graduate student at Michigan State University. My research is in experimental nuclear physics and I spend most of my time at the cyclotron. For more information see my CV or research presentations.
I'm heavily involved in the lab and the physics department at MSU. I currently serve on the diversity committee at the NSCL and give tours on a fairly regular basis. I'm also president of PGO.
In my spare time I enjoy bowling, softball, soccer, or any team sport pick up game. I spend a fair amount of time surfing the internet, and playing games such as poker. I also think it's fun to create new things, including webpages.
What I want
My first goal is to obtain a PhD in Physics from MSU by the end of 2009. After graduation I hope to find either a post doc or a teaching position at a liberal arts college. I hope to continue my level of involvement with a new physics department and become more involved in the community.
