I am primarily
involved in the operations and improvements of the S800 spectrograph, which is a large
acceptance - high resolution device used in reaction studies with
radioactive beams.
My research
activities are concentrated on the study of nuclei located close
to the limit of stability, where new behaviours of nuclear matter
are observed. Please refer to my list of publications for futher
information.
I am the original
author of the LISE code, which has been developped
since 1985 to simulate the production of radioactive beams using
projectile fragmentation. The code is now under the management of
Oleg Tarasov who has ported it to the Windows environment and has
added many new features and improvements.
Here are a few links to a few other things I have authored:
My extra
professional interests include playing with my son Julien,
playing the piano and giving recitals with my wife Claire, and
sailing whenever there is some time left!
