Sponsors of the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory

Operation of the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory as a national user facility is supported by the Experimental Nuclear Physics Program of the U.S. National Science Foundation. In addition, local experimental and theoretical research and equipment development projects are supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy.

NSCL faculty and graduate students are members of Michigan State University's Department of Physics and Astronomy or Department of Chemistry. Students receive their degrees in these departments.
