Rapid Electromagnetics Computations

There have recently been a number of advances in improving Finite-Difference, Time-Domain (FDTD) and Frequency Domain (FDFD) computations that improve both the speed and accuracy. That combined with the intrinsic speed of FD can reduce computation (and design) time dramatically. These new methods apply to embedded (conformal) metallic boundaries and to dielectrics and magnetic materials. Results of computations will be shown along with problem setup and results visualization within VSim. Timings will also be provided for comparison with other computational software.
