Video: Update from MoNA collaboration

"Here our interest is finding the kind of fluctuations and trends that occur in the cosmic ray distribution, both from Michigan State and Santa Barbara, simultaneously," says Warren Rogers, Interim Academic Dean and also Professor and Chair of the Department of Physics & Engineering at Westmont College in California, in a video released June 12 describing the Modular Neutron Array (MoNA) collaboration. MoNA, first discussed at a 2000 NSCL user meeting, detects both neutral and charged reaction products from the rare isotope beams provided by the NSCL Coupled Cyclotron Facility at NSCL. Rogers is current executive director of the MoNA collaboration, which includes 10 colleges and universities around the United States.
