NSCL Professor co-recipient of prestigious Sackler Prize

The 2006 Sackler Prize in Physical Sciences in the field of Theoretical or Experimental Nuclear/Hadron Physics was awarded to NSCL's Professor Thomas Glasmacher "for development of new sensitive methods of studying nuclear structure, utilizing Coulomb excitation with fast beams of rare isotopes". He shares this honor with Professor Yuri Kovchegov from Ohio State University.
