After three decades of developing linear accelerators for nuclear and particle physics, Stanley O. Schriber was selected as fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Only 1% of IEEE's 400,000 members worldwide have been recognized with this prestigious fellowship.
Schriber and his colleagues focus their state-of-the-art work on linear accelerators to be applied to the Department of Energy's Rare Isotope Accelerator (RIA) project, for which MSU is one of the main competitors.
