Working at the NSCL has afforded me the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects, including heavy ion beam instrumentation, cryogenics, superconducting and room temperature magnets, high power RF, low energy beam instrumentation, civil construction, and various personnel/project management assignments. Over the years, a significant amount of effort has been invested in developing Computer Aided Design systems to meet the dynamic needs of the research staff. At the NSCL, you can always count on new projects that will present interesting and challenging design requirements.
