My research interests include orbit tracking study of extraction efficiency in K500 and K1200 and of optical conditions needed to achieve efficient transfer in the coupled cyclotron (CSC) system; orbit studies of Massachusetts General Hospital Cyclotron to understand and reduce beam losses; and the study of extraction efficiency limits in 200 microamp 250 MeV proton cyclotron (possible "driver" accelerator for ISOL type Radioactive Beam Facility) The 25 MeV cyclotron is used by ACCEL GmbH of Bergish-Gladbach, DE for fabrication of a series of proton therapy cyclotrons for various cancer therapy centers in the world.
