I am primarily responsible for the operations on the S800 spectrograph. It includes not only the supervision of the device itself, but also support of all experiments that are performed on it. I therefore cover as many aspects as possible, from the mechanical and electrical installations to the ion optics software necessary to reconstruct the trajectories of particles. The detection system of the S800 is complex, consisting of tracking, timing, and energy detectors, and I am continuously bringing new additions or improvements to them as well as their associated electronics.
