NSCL senior physicist Daniel Bazin adjusts radio frequency fragment separator, RFFS

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the RFFS essentially is a high precision lens for identifying sought after proton-rich nuclei that previously were difficult to study in accelerator facilities. Bazin used the RFFS to achieve an experimental result reported in Physical Review Letters in December 2008.
