S800 Spectrograph
Rhiannon Meharchand, NSCL graduate student, works near the S800 Spectrograph, used to acquire knowledge on atomic nuclei in conditions that are not found in nature except in stars or supernovae. Meharchand, who earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, is interested in nuclear astrophysics research. She began her doctoral work at NSCL in fall 2006.
