Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program
Students participating in the U.S. National Science Foundation-supported Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program get an up-close lesson in superconductivity and magnetism. Each year, some 50 undergraduates from MSU and other colleges and universities participate in hands-on research at NSCL.
Operation of NSCL as a national user facility is supported by the Experimental Nuclear Physics Program of the U.S. National Science Foundation.
