K1200 Cyclotron
The K1200 cyclotron cap has been raised, and one of the K1200 dees is resting on the steel shell that is both the outside wall of the cyclotron and also the magnet yoke—the part of the magnet between the north and south poles. The magnet pole tips are the curved metal pieces at top and bottom. The dees are shaped to fit into the spaces between the curves of the pole tips.
