Average neutron gaps ΔN predicted by Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov
calculations for the tin isotopes using state-of-the-art pairing
functionals. Full circles are experimental five-point odd-even
mass differences taken from [Aud03]. The calculations use pairing
functionals that are constant over the volume (blue line) and
nuclear-surface enhanced (red line).
