Comparison of measured [Tsa04] (red cross-hatched region) and calculated [Li06]
(solid points) values for the isospin transport ratio Ri. The theoretical error bars represent the statistical
uncertainties of the theoretical simulations. The top and bottom scale summarize model
calculations [Li06] for radii of 1.4 solar mass neutron stars (top scale) and for the difference between
neutron and proton radii of 208Pb (bottom scale) for those symmetry energy functions that were used in calculating the isospin transport ratio.
