Jeffrey Forman, M.D., present lead medical doctor on the medical cyclotron project, checks the alignment of a patient about to receive treatment. For this treatment, the cyclotron is at an angle above the patient. The cyclotron pushes the moveable floor forward when it moves to angles below the patient.
