Focal Plane Box
Ben Arend, NSCL mechanical design staff engineer, installs a detector in a compact and functionally enhanced focal plane box during the summer 2007 reconfiguration of the laboratory's experimental area. The equipment in the box will optimize the beam of isotopes for experiments performed downstream.
