Noah Ullmann, a Michigan State University master's student in digital media, was curious about the internal workings of NSCL. So he spent some time with fourth-year doctoral student Micha Kilburn for a crash course in nuclear science, rare isotope research, and accelerator technology. Then he tried to make sense of what he learned in this brief audio production.
