Proposing an Experiment at NSCL

Proposals for beam time at NSCL are solicited in a call for proposals. The next call for proposals will be issued in Fall 2008. Written proposals are evaluated by an external program advisory committee (PAC). NSCL does not require oral presentations during the PAC meeting.

You can choose a primary beam from the beam list and estimate rare isotope yields. You can bring your own detectors or use an existing experimental device. NSCL staff will gladly assist you in preparing your proposal.
