NSCL solicits proposals for experiments about every six to eight months. The external Program Advisory Committee evaluates the proposals. The 37th meeting of the NSCL Program Advisory Committee meeting was held on May 21-22, 2012. If you would like to be notified of calls for proposals, please join our user list.
Once your experiment has been approved, you are contacted and your experiment is scheduled. Generally, the beam schedule is established three months in advance. Prior to scheduling, it is important that you communicate to us your needs and expectations for the experiment.
We strive to provide excellent support for every aspect of your experiment — prior to, during, and following your work at our facility. We invite you to contact the Manager for User Relations, with any questions or requests that you might have.
