Although now a physicist
he was first a chemist
in our hearts he will always be
the shorts wearing theorist

Always a cautious driver
even in Chi-town
as keeper for team Fisica
he knew when to go down
Now the senior of seniors
finally has his degree
We shall miss him dearly
but Sweden needs a Ph.D.
