My name is Gary Westfall. I am a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University. I conduct my research at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL), where I have a joint appointment. I also carry out research at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory in the STAR Collaboration.
