Short Description of research interest
and expertise
Theoretical Nuclear Physics:
structure of light nuclei on the driplines and reactions with Halo nuclei
using few-body models (2 and 3 body).
Nuclear Reactions and Astrophysics:
direct capture reactions involving halo nuclei; breakup processes and transfer
reactions for extracting spectroscopic factor, asymptotic normalisation coefficients and astrophysical S-factors.
- Few-body system methods (2
and 3 - body) for application to light nuclei, in particular halo nuclei,
including excitation of the bodies: the Pauli-projection method, methods
for solving the coupled equations in the Schr\"{o}dinger and
Faddeev formalism (the Hypershperical method, the Sturmian method).
- Methods for direct capture
calculations and reactions of Astrophysical interest: the low energy methods
for calculating cross sections and S-factors, application of the two and
three body models for capture reactions.
- Analytic method for calculating
electromagnetic excitations into the continuum.
- Fresco coupled channels for
calculating elastic, transfer reactions and breakup processes: including
bound states and states in the continuum (Continuum Discretised Coupled Channels).
